This workshop focuses on sugar in our modern diet, what forms it takes and where it hides in most of our foods. Is sugar the reason you’ve gained weight and can’t lose it? How much sugar are your kids eating? The discussion examines how sugar affects you, your weight, your energy and your moods. Is it addictive? Are artificial sweeteners a safe alternative? In this seminar, we will learn the basics to “Clean Eating” and transform the foods that you eat into foods that fuel your body! Learn about whole foods vs. processed foods, hidden forms of sugar, ways to supercharge your metabolism, cooking outside the box, the secret to feeling full and reducing food cravings, and so much more. Determine between which sweeteners to avoid and which ones to enjoy. This workshop encourages lively discussion and questions from participants!
